1. Earn a 3.0 GPA minimum in your A-G College Prep Classes and have test scores that meet the UC eligibility index.

2. Take the ACT Assessment plus Writing OR the SAT Reasoning Test.

3. Take two SAT Subject Tests. These must be in two different areas, chosen from the following: English, history and social studies, mathematics (Level 2 only), science or language other than English. *These tests are NOT required for the Class of 2012 or 2013.

 

4. Admission to UC is becoming increasingly competitive! Most students who are admitted go above and beyond the minimum requirements by taking AP classes, classes at a community college or enrolling in summer programs. These admitted students are involved in sports, clubs, community service or have a job after school. If you are interested in going to a UC, challenge yourself to stand out from the rest of your peers!
